Congratulations Swimmers!!!!
6th Place finish at the 2009 Midwestern 14&Under Championships
held March 13-14 at the University Of Nebraska at Omaha. This was
another great finish to the short course season and the highest finish
for our club in the last several years. Congratulations to the following
swimmers who placed in the ‘Top Ten’ in individual scoring for their
age group: Ashley Aldabute (8&Under Girls) 5th; Elizabeth Sgroi
(8&Under Girls) 10th; Luke Hemmingsen (8&Under Boys) 1st;
Jackson Allmon (8&Under Boys) 3rd; Kelsey Meyers (13-14 Girls) 6th
and RJ Hemmingsen (13-14 Boys) 7th.
Practice Schedule
May 4th through May 28th
Gold Groups- 5:30-6:45pm Monday through Thursday LC
Seniors- 4:30-6:15pm Monday through Thursday LC
8:00-10:00am Saturday Morning LC
June 1st through July 30th
Gold I & II 7:30-8:45am Monday through Thursday LC
Gold III 7:00-8:30am Monday through Friday FCO
Seniors 6:30-8:45am Monday through Friday FCO
8:00-10:00am Saturday Morning LC
NOTE: Gold III swimmers and Seniors that cannot make practices
at the Field Club of Omaha have the option of practicing at Lewis
Central from 7:30-9:00am on Monday through Thursday.

Titan Hill Pool
The main practice facility for CBSC is at the Lewis Central Titan Hill Pool. The pool is an 8 lane
25yd indoor facility with a Daktronics timing system and scoreboard. The pool is located at 3820
Harry Landon Blvd in Council Bluffs, Iowa which is just 3 blocks south on Highway 275 from the
highway 92 & 275 intersection. The pool is centrally located to Omaha and the communities of
Southwest Iowa.

Council Bluffs Swim Club
The Council Bluffs Swim Club (CBSC) has been a year around competitive
swim program since 1978. Our head coach, Bruce Schomburg, started the
club in 1978 and is still running the program. Bruce is also the head coach for
both boys and girls at Lewis Central High School in Council Bluffs and the
pool manager and summer league coach for the Field Club of Omaha.
